Amazing Authentic Mexican! I had a salmon over greens, I wish there wasn’t rice on the bottom but my fault for not reading it. Soup was excellent and my son loved his beef burrito. Great place to stop if you ski at Butternut.

Great food and prices! The decor is very esthetically pleasing! It's bright, warm, and fun!

The drinks were amazing especially the Sangria...the main entree's were delicious, everyone at our table absolutely loved their meals and ate every bit of their meals ....but couldn't understand not getting chips and salsa brought to table and then being charged for it....every Mexican restaurant I have ever eaten at from here to Los Angeles brings out chips and salsa with drinks....also there were 5 of us and they brought out a small basket of chips...This restaurant is otherwise so good!!!! I would definitely recommend it to anyone.....but come on about the salsa and chips???!!!! If you are going to charge for them that's fine, but how about bringing out a basket that 5 people can actually share???

Amazing restaurant!! Jon & I were looking for a good place to eat when we happened across this one in Great Barrington after a day of hiking & bookstore shopping! Incredible food started with the HUGE bowl of guacamole & chips. The drinks were excellent, I went with the sweeter margarita with grenadine. We split the appetizer quesadilla & the chicken tinga tacos. Authentic flavor with a flair, this place had great food, ambiance & our waitress was very helpful. Food was so good we stayed for dessert! I had the flan & Jon tried the Rico pastel, it was incredible. We will be back + I would highly recommend if you're looking for good Mexican food in the MA area.

The place is overrated and overpriced. The place was empty inside and the waiter sat us next to the bathroom. We asked to be seated outside. The food was very Americanized and poor quality and taste. Every single table asked for salt. Don’t waste your time or money here

I just had lunch here, the food was very good. The portions are very small but well made. The price point is low and the service was fantastic. I had the chicken fajitas.

Maybe we went on an off day (which happens to every restaurant so read the other reviews for their take as well) but wanted to be honest about our experience. Staff was very nice. Guacamole was the highlight and it was delicious! But the chips were somehow off. And everything seemed just a little bland and not well seasoned. Overall the food was average at best.

Food has declined a bit in recent years & it's grown pricier. Used to be my favorite when visiting the Berkshires. Will probably skip next time. My daughter really enjoyed her smoothie & guacamole though.

Stopped for lunch today. Husband had fajitas I had quesadillas. Both were fresh, flavorful and delicious. Excellent salsa and guac. Cozy atmosphere and very good service. Only complaint...we were there too early for dinner menu. Not a typical Mexican restaurant. Wish we lived closer! Highly recommend!

Fresh lime margaritas, great kids menu, delicious mole sauce and a spicy, hearty chicken tortilla soup. Very satisfied and the staff was friendly too!

Great food and service! Lunch was awesome! I had the chicken and beef burrito and it was huge! If you leave hungry it is your own fault! The staff was Wonderful and attentive! Thanks for a filling and delicious lunch!

Over the years I have been to many Mexican restaurants. This one is the best by far. They have the best Margarita I’ve ever tasted. And the authentic taste of their food just lingers in your mind. You’ll want to come back. So the people who are leaving bad reviews, I think are having just bad days. Or maybe the service person had a bad day. We are all human. Service is always excellent when I have went. Can’t wait to go back!

Love the atmosphere, the outdoor patio was so nice. The landscaping is so unique and beautiful! The food and service was great!! I'll be back!

This ended up being a second choice, impromptu choice of place to eat, but I was pleasantly surprised. The sauce for the tacos, served on the side, was excellent! And the flavor of the meat was great. It could have used some queso blanco or another type of cheese, but was still good. And the fresh guacamole was surprisingly good. The service was very friendly, but there were some long periods of time without seeing anyone. Since I'm from the South and grew up on this food, it's hard to give a 5 but this was close!

I ate here twice. It feels like a place with a good concept - authentic Mexican food - not the typical tex-mex stuff. But it feels like the soul of the chef who branded this place is long gone. The food was overly salty and the sauces were too watery. The food was not as good as authentic Oaxacan restaurants in Mexican neighborhoods. That alone is not what cost the 'stars'. But the price is double that of its 'truly' Oaxacan counterparts. To pay double for 'authentic food' that feels perfunctory is just really annoying. To be clear, you can probably score a yummy dish here- but for the price point, the kitchen needs to step it up.

Swift service, delicious food, and tasty margaritas.

I have eaten there several times. Was never disappointed until my last visit. I order enchiladas especial. They were cold. I'm relatively certain they were reheated in a microwave. There were two different kinds the beef Rojas and chicken Verde. The beef were slightly warm, but the chicken were cold. It was overall a catch-22, though. They were tasty, just cold. So I ate them anyway. Plus, I don't like to send food back. I've seen the movie Waiting. . .

I have frequented many restaurants in my beloved Berkshires and this is by far the worst service I’ve ever had. The only reason people think this is good is because there are no other comparable options in the area. Mediocre at best and awful at worst.

A place that I consistently love for the margaritas and the delicious burritos. I think they raised the prices since last summer....$15 for housemade guacamole? Skip it and opt for the $12 burrito on the back of the menu. Like most places in the Berkshires, the service is very slow and somewhat overpriced, and my rating reflects this. We waited 25 minutes from getting seated to getting chips served to our table. If you're willing to wait, great.

This is the best authentic Mexican restaurant I've been. Everything from the guacamole to the margaritas and their food is delicious, homemade and so tasty. They use organic, local products and the service is great. Highly recommend tres leches for dessert.

Festive decor, casual dining. Friendly staff. The Sangria (red) was very tasty. The Quacamoli Especial was delicious! I gave 4 stars rather than 5 as I found the Tacos Carnitas a bit too salty. Otherwise, great place. Very inexpensive too.

Fantastic Mexican restaurant with unique dishes and great Margaritas. Definitely make a trip here and try something new; I promise you won't regret it. For example, we had shiitake mushroom crepes as an appetizer and they were fantastic.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in the Berkshires. Consistently excellent food with a real authentic flair with many dishes bordering on the sublime. This is what real Mexican fine cuisine can be and a far step above more ubiquitous Americanized establishments.

Amazing food! Beyond the best Mexican food in the Berkshire’s, perhaps one of the most satisfying Mexican food experiences I’ve had. The Bella Especial margarita is great.
